We are incredibly proud to present our trip ski touring Lofoten with Kajsa Larsson!
Kajsa Larsson is a professional freestyle skier who loves spending her days outdoors. For the past ten years, she has inspired through her travels and adventures on social media. With a desire for adventure and a desire to push her body, she has taken on big and small challenges and this summer she cycled the whole of Sweden unsupported on gravel. Her first ever tour trip was just to Lofoten, where she considers it perfect for both beginners and advanced skiers to find skiing with fantastic views.
Lofoten has been awarded the world's most beautiful place several times. We can only agree. To also experience this fantastic place on skis makes it even better.
If you've ever gone on a summit tour in Scandinavia, you might know what a special experience it can be: you and your friends with a whole mountain to yourselves, a magnificent view from the top and no one else who has made tracks in the loose snow on the downhill. You can imagine how special it will be to go on a top tour in one of the world's most beautiful places, with the vast Atlantic surrounding the islands you are on and the pointed peaks standing guard all around you.
The mountains in Lofoten are not very high, only in exceptional cases do they rise more than a thousand meters above sea level. Therefore, the area is suitable for those who want relatively short tours with a lot of content. If you are fit and looking for more altitude meters, the solution is simple: we squeeze in two summit tours on the same day. In addition to many simpler top tours, Lofoten also has a large number of snow chutes and steeper downhill runs for those who want a real challenge.
This trip is part of our new concept of "all women" trips where the participants are girls or non-binary and we have female IFMGA guides.
